We’re pleased that they’ve selected the film as part of this special benefit festival. We’ve heard Native American friends say that it made them feel good that the ‘Indians finally won’ and have heard reports of [...] “… a most interesting document … for the vivid window it opens on aspects of Yanomamö shamanism.” [...] In the sometimes slow-moving world of independent film, we can look back at a number of accomplishments this year. Each step means the story our Yanomamö friends asked us to tell gains a wider and wider hearing. For that we are very grateful.
