August 12, 2008 - Award Nomination and more news. • The Enemy God has received a nomination for "Best Feature Film" from the 11th Annual Apra International Film Festival, to be held in Hollywood, October 24-26, 2008. • We are pleased to announce that Ostrow and Company has joined our team as Producer's Representatives for The Enemy God. Page Ostrow and her team are introducing the film to domestic and foreign distributors. June 30, 2008 - Cinematography Award in New Mexico. • The Enemy God was honored with the award for "Best Cinematography" at the Talking Stick Film Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico. ![]() ![]() Tom and Matt accept the award for "Best Cinematography" on behalf of John Petrella (Dir. of Photography) and our incredible camera crew and film lab. June 19, 2008- Recent developments • We travel to Santa Fe, NM for the Talking Stick Film Festival - June 21-26. You can see more clips from films at TSFF on a very cool, indigenous web TV channel, www.isuma.tv. Our trailer is up there on the Talking Stick channel. • June 5-8 was the Breckenridge Festival of Filmin Breckenridge, CO. We screened the film twice. After the Saturday night screening we had a Q&A and discussion time led by a faith and media professor. May 2008- Recent developments • It is a busy time for us! Two more festivals have invited us to screen The Enemy God film: the Swansea Life Film Festival in Swansea, Wales, UK, and the Talking Stick Film Festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Swansea is in early-June, Talking Stick is late-June. The Swansea festival offers our first opportunity to screen the film in the UK's biggest festival. The Talking Stick Festival is focused on indigenous stories, issues, and spirituality. We are very grateful to be able to help bring the Yanomamö story to these audiences. ![]() April 2008 ![]() • We are pleased to announce that The Enemy God has been chosen as an official selection of the Breckenridge Festival of Film, June 5-8, 2008. This festival, held for the past 27 summers here in Colorado, is a chance to show the film in our own backyard, as it were.
