Giving to support The Enemy God project

Most motion pictures are commercial ventures, funded by investors who hope to make their fortune in the glamorous world of Hollywood.

A few filmmakers, like us, have a mission to tell compelling stories that may or may not have blockbuster potential, yet are very important and influential stories. We hope for revenue from our films, but we don’t depend on it entirely. In the case of The Enemy God the film has been made entirely through donated funds and any revenues generated will be shared between the Yanomamö and 10X Productions in order to fund further projects. Our approach to paying the bills is as follows:

Tom and Matt, the staff of 10X Productions, are responsible to raise funds to cover the cost of our employment. This happens through a partner non-profit agency, PIONEERS. If you'd like to help with our personal support, perhaps by joining a monthly support team, let us know. We'll happily send you the details.

Our labor is essentially "donated" to projects like The Enemy God. But the production and distribution of the film does have real costs. We need to pay for further technical work on the film, foreign-language translation, promotion of the film to audiences, and other expenses related to seeing the film reach a wide audience. So, in addition to revenue that will come from DVD sales in the future, we're trusting God to supply the funds to cover these immediate expenses through (tax-deductible) donations from partners.

1. Send a check. Make your check payable to PIONEERS and add a note that it is for “The Enemy God, #150217.” Mail it to:

Please do NOT send a check made out to 10X Productions. We cannot cash it.

2. Give by credit card. Make an online donation through the PIONEERS web site here. Type "The Enemy God" in the space for missionary name; the project account is #150217.
